Red Teaming AssociatesBefore you begin
After the exercise · second and final run
About five minutes · anonymous

Two minutes about your background, three about how you decide.

This runs once, before the exercise opens. It is not a test and there is nothing to revise for — the second part asks what you would reach for first, and there is no scored right answer.

Nothing here identifies you. No name, no email, no unit, no rank-and-name. Your answers are pooled with everyone else’s in the room and reported only as a group picture. They cannot be traced back to you, including by us, and the raw answers are deleted when the after-action report is delivered.

Part one · the room

How confident are you in your own decision process under time pressure? Your process, not the outcome. There is no preferred answer and this is not shown to anyone individually.

Part two · what you reach for first

Eight short moments. Pick the option closest to your instinct, not the one that sounds best. Every option is something a competent person does.

What happens to this. Answers are stored against the session, never against you. They are pooled into the group picture that appears in the after-action report, and the raw answers are then deleted. Nothing is sold, shared or used for anything else. If you would rather not answer any single question, leave it and continue.

Draft · needs your sign-offThe eight items in part two were drafted against the eight models taught in your 90-minute module (eight of the fifteen in the full course) — rational actor, organizational process, bureaucratic politics, dual-process, prospect theory, cognitive bias, groupthink, poliheuristic. Each one offers three defensible options and scores which reasoning pattern the participant reaches for first; none is marked right or wrong, which is deliberate: the participants have not had the instruction yet, so grading them would measure the wrong thing and would not be fair. Read every item and every option before this goes in front of a room. This block is visible only with ?review in the URL.
